High-Intent Buyer Path Audit

Find the buyer-path leaks your dashboards miss.

BookedDemo repeatedly checks your demo, contact-sales, quote, and trial flows as an outside buyer, including what happens after submit, and keeps the evidence. You see where a buyer got stuck, when it started, and whether the fix held.

Each of those flows is what we call a Path: one public route to a demo, contact-sales, quote, or trial request.

  • Checked the way an outside buyer sees it
  • In the regions, devices, and buyer profiles you pick
  • The form, and what reaches the buyer after submit
  • The date it last worked, and a rerun once you fix it

When teams go looking for this

It usually sits with RevOps, Marketing Ops, Demand Gen, Growth, or whoever owns the website, and what starts the search is rarely a crash.

  • A release or migration touched the form, scheduler, or routing.
  • A new campaign landing or territory went live.
  • Requests or meetings dipped in one region, segment, or device.
  • Sales says the leads are not arriving.
  • A buyer said they never heard back.
  • A fix shipped and nobody has proven it held.

Dashboards catch a crash fast. A slow leak is easy to miss.

If the form dies outright, tomorrow's numbers show it. A leak in one region or on one device hardly moves the total, and it can sit there for weeks.

Illustrative scenarios Worked examples. We did not measure how often each happens.

Region · timezone

One region quietly drops

APAC expected 15 meetings and gets 12. The US keeps converting, so the total looks normal.

Device · form

Mobile buyers hit a different form

The mobile form rejects an email address the desktop form accepts. Desktop submissions keep coming in, and the drop only shows if you split the numbers by device.

Scheduler

The calendar is empty for one timezone

Your Calendly or ChiliPiper page loads fine, but a buyer in CET sees no usable slots and closes the tab. No error fires anywhere.

After submit

The form submits, then nothing arrives

No confirmation, invite, or follow-up reaches the buyer. Every tracked event still fired. The form report shows a normal day.

Someone clicks through by hand and finds nothing, because the break sits in a region or on a device they did not try. BookedDemo runs the regions, devices, and buyer profiles you approved, so the report names which one broke and shows the evidence.

Four steps, from your domain to evidence you keep.

BookedDemo is a High-Intent Buyer Path Audit for sales-led B2B SaaS. You confirm which flows matter. We check them on a schedule and keep what every run captured.

Step 1

Start with your domain or one landing page

Your domain, a campaign landing page, or the form your team already worries about.

Step 2

Confirm the Paths and what should happen

Which region, device, or buyer profile to check, and what the buyer should receive after submit.

Step 3

Run each Path as an outside buyer

CTA, form, scheduler and slots where present, submit, and what reaches the buyer afterward.

Step 4

Keep checking over time

If it breaks, you see the last run that worked, and a rerun shows whether the fix took.

Some Paths can be checked
deeper than others.

A demo request can be followed furthest, often to the calendar invite. For contact-sales, quote, and trial requests we can still show whether a confirmation, follow-up, or verification arrived, or that nothing did within the waiting window.

How far we can follow the buyer depends on the kind of Path. The table shows the ceiling for each.
Path What buyers expect What BookedDemo can show
Demo request Scheduler, invite, or sales follow-up Slots visible and invite/ICS observed, or no next step after the window.
Contact sales Acknowledgement or sales response Confirmation or sales follow-up observed, or silence after the window.
Request a quote Quote acknowledgement Acknowledgement or follow-up observed, or no response after the window.
Trial entry Verification or activation handoff Verification, activation, or follow-up observed, or the buyer was blocked or heard nothing.

We can check contact-sales, quote, or trial Paths deeper once you approve it.

Path Health over time

Path Health keeps checking,
so you can see what changed and when.

Forms, schedulers, vendors, and routing keep changing underneath the flow. Checking on a schedule catches a change close to when it starts, and the run history shows how long it may have been leaking.

  • An email only when something changed for buyers
  • The date it last worked and the window it likely broke in
  • A rerun that shows whether the fix held

In our Study, 12 of 1,000 Path definitions we had recorded stopped matching within about three days. How Paths change.

What you already have, and where nobody owns the upkeep.

You probably have two or three of these already. The gap is that none of them keeps checking as an outside buyer after the form or a vendor changes.

Our research

What we saw across 1,000 public B2B buyer Paths.

We picked one demo or sales Path at each of 1,000 B2B software companies, wrote down how it should work, and walked it from outside without submitting anything.

  • Some Paths fail outright 14 of 1,000 led to a dead, invalid, or unpublished destination. A buyer who never reaches the form rarely shows up in your own records.
  • The next page is often not yours 22.8% of observed destinations sat on a host outside the company's own domain, 190 of 832. Each of those can change without anyone on your side shipping anything.
  • The route itself changes 12 of 1,000 no longer matched what we had written down about three days earlier.

We walked each Path once, from outside. It is not a census or an annual rate, and it says nothing about conversion or revenue. Boundaries.
